Jen is a lifesaver and an absolute pro. My wife and I had never dealt with lice--with our kids or as kids ourselves. Jen squeezed us into her very busy day (yes, she came to our house the same day we called) and was incredible the moment she arrived. From explaining everything thoroughly to comforting and laughing/engaging with my young daughters, there is nothing she could have done better. Her temperament and personality enable her to seamlessly fit in with any family dynamic. If you get lice, do NOT think twice about making Jen your first call. I understand it may be a bit on the pricier side, but the peace of mind and short duration of your problems are well worth it.

From beginning to end this was a great experience...for having lice! Jen was so sweet and thorough. My daughter was really nervous about the idea of having lice but Jen did a great job at easing her fears (and mine). I love that she uses natural, non toxic ingredients to remove everything. She gave us all the after care instructions we needed and was available for any follow up questions or issues we had. She was worth every cent for this service. she also has great, non toxic products for the aftercare. The mint spray is great!

The Lice Chicks are such a relief! We found a bug in my daughter's hair and performed an at home treatment. We sent her to school the next day and informed the school of the situation. They school checked her out and cleared her. We called the Lice Chicks for peace of mind and they came to our house the following day. My daughter still had eggs and so did my son and wife. Glory was calm, pleasant, reassuring and informative. If this ever happens again, The Lice Chicks will be my first call.

The Lice Chicks seriously saved my life, peace of mind, sanity and not to mention talking me off the ledge. Having lice as a kid in the late 80’s, early 90’s was traumatic to say the least. So when my daughter’s school nurse called me to say you need to come get her she has lice, I literally felt my heart drop. The day had come and I was flipping out! I was given Jen’s number and called right away! She talked me through everything and I booked an appointment right away! I don’t know what I would have done without her! Not only does she know what she is doing and well educated on the dreadful things, she is calm and makes you feel that your world is not coming to an end (I know dramatic but that’s how I felt)! Once she arrived a huge weight was lifted off my shoulders and I could breathe! My child arrived home from school with an itchy head, and sure enough…I saw something. Our first household encounter EVER with lice. I was panicked. I called the Lice Chicks and within minutes I had an appointment for the same evening, a form to fill out, instructions on what to do in my home, and a small bit of relief.
Durley, (an angel) arrived and we immediately knew we were in good hands. Only one of the 4 of us had them, and she was meticulous, thorough and confident that we were good to go. She informed us what to do in the upcoming days and weeks, and put our minds completely at ease. Thankful there is a business like this around. The second we realized my child had lice we freaked out and called the lice chicks immediately. Jen responded right away and was able to come to the house that same day! She sent home cleaning instructions while we waited which I started on right away. Once here she checked everyone in the house and proceeded to work on myself and my child. A couple hours later lice free! And peace of mind that it was for sure gone! She answered all questions we had and the whole process was actually calm and soothing considering what was happening. The next day it was like it never happened. We were also able to buy preventative products and a professional comb was given to us. Highly recommend The Lice Chicks if this nightmare ever happens to you. Worth every penny!

Though not a service you find yourself wanting, these two wonderful woman do it well. Be prepared to spend a couple of hours there (depending on hair length), because they are very thorough. They literally go through each hair to ensure that there is nothing left behind. They also include follow up visits to ensure that there are no new surprises later. These additional visits are included in the initial price. It was worth every penny and I would absolutely use them again, but I hope I don't need to.

As someone said earlier this is not a review you WANT to write. With that being said I couldn't ask for a better experience. Jenn was professional and thorough. I was confident that all of the lice/nits were out of my daughter's hair after two hours of strand by strand treatment. It was also very reassuring when there were two re-checks included in the price. Jenn was great to work with and I highly recommend this service.

AWESOME, AWESOME, AWESOME! I can not say enough good things about this place! I called them a day after I found Lice in my Daughters Hair. My daughter has thin, somewhat wavy hair, Jenn saw her the same day, then she checked my hair (very thick and curly), and I had it too. I was panicked (never had lice in my life). Jenn quickly eased my worries, she took care of me and my daughter, gave us all the tips on how not to get lice again, and explained all the myths about lice. I then brought my 3 boys back and my husband to get checked as well! We all left Lice Free, same day, without using any harsh chemicals! Her Shop is clean, bright and welcoming. Not only do you receive the treatment but an education on what you need to do to be on the "defense" going forward. Products were also phenomenal. No words to describe how much I appreciate this place. My daughter was away on vacation and I was called and told she had lice. I called them at 7pm at night in a panic. Jennifer told me to come down to check and see if I have it too. Well, of course I did and she treated me right then and there, AFTER CLOSING HOURS!! We scheduled a time to come to the salon that day. The family was lice free by the time we left. The treatment works and is guaranteed. There is product to purchase which is natural and smells delicious. Jennifer explained how to be proactive against another lice outbreak by checking heads regularly and using The Lice Chicks products and nit comb. She also convinced me I didn't have to burn down my home and provided great advice on how to treat our belongs if I was worried that the lice were living on my stuff.
